Self portrait, May 2019

I am a Birmingham-based freelance photographer with a passion for creating high quality thought-provoking imagery.

Born in Glasgow, I moved to Birmingham in 2006 and have lived there for most of my adult life. Although I am a Glaswegian at heart, I am very proud to be an adopted Brummie having lived here for 13 years! My commercial work includes documentary, portraits, events, food, and wedding photography. Examples of my commercial work can be seen on my commercial page above. My personal work is focused on street photography combined with photojournalism. I try to find interesting narratives in everyday life that I capture and convey through my photography, You can see examples of personal projects on projects page above. In my spare time I manage the Instagramers of Birmingham social media community, along with two colleagues. This community of local photographers promotes Birmingham, photography and the building of communities. I am also a co-founder of the Birmingham Photography Festival.

If you are interested in working together, please contact me via the calls to action at the top of the page.

Thanks,

Fraser
